Our attorneys first make sure you understand what a guardianship is, when it may be advisable, and alternatives that may be available. If warranted, we then proceed to establish a Guardianship for a minor child or a disabled or incapacitated adult of any age. Guardianship is used to step in legally to help with personal decisions or asset management or both. Our experience includes full or limited Guardianships, and may in some circumstances be established on an emergency or temporary basis.
If you suspect physical, financial or other elder abuse, please immediately contact the Illinois Elder Abuse Hotline: 1-866-800-1409.
